Read Home and Do next
Start on Home, read the single Do next action, and open a deal from Your deals.
Who it is for
Home is the first workspace page after you have a property, or the page Rehabfolio shows once setup is finished or skipped. It leads with one next action and a short list of deals.
An empty workspace that has not finished setup is redirected to Getting started instead. After you skip or complete the wizard, Home stays put. The morning digest uses the same priority rules as Do next.
Before you start
- You are signed in. If setup is unfinished and you have no property, Home opens Getting started and shows Opening setup….
- At least one project makes Do next and Your deals useful. With none, the page title is Start your first deal.
- A role that can open projects. A blocked action says Your role doesn't allow that action. Ask an owner or admin.
Steps
Click Home
Home is the first item under Core in the left sidebar. The page eyebrow is Home. With deals, the title is Continue your deals and the subtitle says to pick up where you left off, one clear next step at a time. With no deals, the title is Start your first deal.
Read Do next
When deals exist, Do next shows one card. The subtitle is One step at a time. Click Open on that card. Click Refresh to ask for a new briefing. While it runs, the button shows an ellipsis.
Read the four tiles
Pipeline counts leads. Active rehabs counts projects in delivery and is labeled In delivery. Projected profit sums complete analyses and says Across N complete analyses. Open tasks says Need attention when tasks are open and Clear when none are.
Open a deal
Under Your deals, click a property. The row shows the stage, the strategy, and the city. A saved analysis shows profit or loss risk. Without an analysis the small label is open.
Use the quiet links when deals exist
Underwrite another listing opens AI Studio. Plan & usage opens billing. Setup checklist appears beside them when Home is also showing recommended next steps. New project at the top right adds a property. AI Studio is the ghost button beside it.
What the fields mean
Do next is one ranked action. Open goes to the record behind it. Refresh requests an AI briefing. After it returns, the subtitle names the provider and the word briefing. If nothing is waiting, the card title is You are clear and the text is No overdue tasks, cooling leads, or budget issues right now.
Your deals lists up to four projects. The subtitle is Open a project to work the next step. or, when empty, Nothing active yet. View all opens the projects list. An empty list says No projects yet and Use Underwrite listing above, or create a blank project.
With no deals, the hero says Paste a listing for a draft underwrite and offers Underwrite listing and Load sample deals. Do next is hidden until a deal exists.
New project starts a property outside the wizard. See create a property. Projected profit only adds analyses that have the inputs for a profit figure. A negative figure is marked as a warning.
When recommended steps exist, they sit under the links. That panel is covered in review portfolio health.
Tips and troubleshooting
- You are clear and No overdue tasks, cooling leads, or budget issues right now. means Do next has nothing urgent.
- Refresh can fail with the briefing error text. The rules card underneath is still the list Rehabfolio would have shown.
- The morning email uses this same list. Settings for it are in choose notification and digest settings.
- New project adds a property. See create a property. Free includes 2 active projects.
- No projects yet on Your deals means use Underwrite listing or New project. Sample deals are in load sample deals.
- If Home will not stay open, finish or skip setup. The redirect line is Opening setup….
What to do next
Open the property you clicked in read the project home. See every project in browse active projects. Add another with create a property. The checklist is use the getting-started checklist. Practice data is load sample deals.
